Mongo Shielding
Every on-chain transaction is public by default. MongoShield lets you disconnect your deposit address from your withdrawal address using zero-knowledge proofs — so your activity stays yours.
How Privacy Works
Shield deposits go into a shared pool. You get a private Deposit Note — a secret that proves you own a share without revealing which deposit is yours. Withdraw to any address using a ZK-proof, and the on-chain trail stops there.
1. Shield (Deposit)
Your assets enter the shared pool. You receive a Deposit Note. That's the last on-chain link back to your wallet.
2. Anonymity Set
The longer you wait, the more deposits mix in — the harder it becomes to single out your funds. No minimum wait, but more time means more privacy.
3. Unshield (Withdraw)
Withdraw to a clean address using just your Deposit Note. No gas from the original wallet — no connection back.
4. Compliance
You hold your own view keys. If you ever need to prove where funds came from, you can share that proof — nobody else can do it for you.
⚠️ Critical Safety Warning
Your Deposit Note is the ONLY way to recover your shielded assets. Lose it and your funds are permanently locked — there's no back-door, no support ticket, no recovery. Back it up before you do anything else.
